My Breakdown:
As a fan of this series, I am very familiar with this character. I’ve also drawn her before, so I didn’t really need any references for her.

The last time I drew her, I used a pose from one of her figures found out there during a search. I loved the way that came out the last time; I had to go down that road again. I found another pose from her that I wanted to try here. Amazingly enough there wasn’t much trouble with this one at all, and I’ve continued to use some of my new tricks on her eyes and hair. There were a few spots that didn’t quite come out the way I thought…I could have done better with her left arm here. As for her right hand, I was feeling lazy and just put it behind her back. I had some fun with her hair this time. As I mentioned before, I used some new tricks that I tried in some drawings before with her hair, and I think it looks much better than the last one.

The Saints seem to be one of the more popular teams for these requests as they’ve been requested a number of times. Being one of the more simple designs out there, it wasn’t too difficult to get done. The home color was requested, and was posted here, but I did have a couple alternates posted in my blog.

I’m still going with this same style of background that I’ve been using recently, following the design from some old basketball cards that I found laying around the apartment. I decided to add a larger copy of this image, as well as adding a few dynamics to the background to keep it from looking too plain.

What I Like Most:
There are just some characters that always come out well for me, and this seems to be one of them. I was very happy with the way she came out last time, and with the exception of a couple minor issues, I think this effort is better than that one. Needless to say I am very pleased with this one as well.

What I Dislike Most:
If there was anything for me to complain about, it would be that her eyes didn’t quite come out the way I wanted, and her arm looks pretty awkward here.

Final Thoughts:
My sincere apologies for being so lazy, and taking this long.

This has been a fun project for me, but I’ll have to stop taking any further requests for now…at least until I get caught up with everything that I need to complete.
