My Take:
If you’re new here, or maybe you haven’t come across my page, but as you look around you’ll find that I’ve drawn her quite often, and in most cases I’ve used her in a number of my drawing experiments…some of which have made it here, others have found their way to the garbage can. I wanted to have Videl looking happy this time, recently I’ve drawn her either annoyed, or angry and I didn’t want to do that all the time, so this was a change of pace. This pose came from a picture that I have of Kei, of the Dirty Pair. The Browns uniform more or less uses the classic design, and it wasn’t too hard to draw. I didn’t see a number, or color specified here, so I went with the white road jersey since I did the brown one already, and I thought about choosing QB Jake Delhomme’s #17 for his time here, but I eventually decided on #40 worn by RB Peyton Hillis, (who might be on the cover of Madden 12).

What I Like Most:
I tried an experiment, and used a darker shade for her than I usually do; and I must admit, I am very pleased with the results. This time around, I’ve got an actual expression on the character’s face as opposed to the usual smirk, or monotone expression, something I need to do more often. Her body came out well, I usually try for a more toned look for her, I couldn’t show that too well here, but I did what I could.

What I Dislike Most:
I screwed up the collar of the jersey, even though it doesn’t look THAT bad, it’s still throwing things off for me. It should have been more to (our) right. I must address her hands, for the most part they came out well, but her right hand is too big.

Final Thoughts:
My sincere apologies for being so lazy, and taking this long, I really appreciate your patience with me. With that aside, FozokageArt, I hope you like this one.

This has been a fun project for me, and it’s one that I’d like to keep going for as long as it will go.

I am aware that not everyone likes certain characters for their own reasons; I’m not interested in knowing about that.
