My Take:
She’s the one that started the whole thing, this is my second time with her, other than a minor omission last time, I thought that came out pretty well, and I was expecting the same out of this one. I pretty much had this pose in mind when I got started, and if I’m not mistaken, I’ve done this one (or one similar) a couple times before, so it wasn’t too much trouble. The major slow down was an omission that I made before I started adding color, I forgot to draw the cat ears, which were asked for…so I went back and added them on. I did something a little different with the background, I used black as the primary color instead of going with white, or the team color. Since I’ve done the Saints twice before, I don’t need to go over the design of the jersey again. The number 2 was chosen for a specific reason, if you’re far enough into the series, I’m sure you can easily figure out the idea behind it.

What I Like Most:
Recently I’ve fallen in love with doing the white outline around the character, I’m not sure how long that will last, but it’s going well for now. It’s getting easier to draw their noses again, earlier this year, I decided to change the way I draw their noses, and I think it looks better than before. Her hands came out very well, it’s usually a trouble spot for me, so I have to mention it when it goes right.

What I Dislike Most:
Her right forearm is too long, recently I’ve been having trouble here recently. I could have put more effort into coloring the jersey, not that it looks terrible or anything, but I still could have done better. Those ears are uneven, not that they look terrible or anything, but that’s another area that I could have worked harder with, especially since I went back and put them in.

I pride myself on doing my best, especially when I do requests. If it’s not good enough for me, then it’s certainly not good enough for anyone else.
